Political Animals v World XIII sponsored by PRCA
PR industry body PRCA will sponsor the upcoming Political Animals v World XIII game on the morning of the Rugby League World Cup Final, November 30.
The game is being played at Leigh Sports Village and will see politicians of all levels and parties take on a World XIII comprising Embassy and High Commission staff as well as administrators of Rugby League World Cup nations.
The PRCA represents and supports consultancies, organisational communication teams and individuals involved in public relations and public affairs across the globe. Its CEO Francis Ingham said “The PRCA is very happy to support this match; our members throughout the world regularly engage with politicians and use our data, training and codes of conduct enable all to do so efficiently and ethically. Sport is one of the great levellers and games such as this are a great way to develop relationships; good luck to both teams.”
The Political Animals club captain is Leeds North West MP Greg Mulholland. He said “The Animals are grateful to the PRCA for its support. This is an important game for us and the sport and without the support of organisations such as the PRCA it would not be possible. We’re looking forward to the game and are sure everyone taking part will enjoy it almost as much as the World Cup Final later in the day.”
