Political Animals RLFC Announce New Kit Agreement with Stash Sportswear
The Political Animals RLFC is pleased to announce their new kit agreement with Stash Sportswear for the 2011/2012 season.
A traditional chevron design, the Stash kit will be first worn on 10th July when the Political Animals take on the British Asian Rugby Association to raise funding for the Pakistan Flood Relief fund.
Club Captain Greg Mulholland MP said “In the short time since the Political Animals was formed, our kit has become somewhat iconic. We took the decision to not have any colours that represent specific political parties, so what better than black and white! We worked closely with Stash to ensure a smart, traditional kit that shows our off our charities and I for one will be proud to wear it over the course of our season.”
As well as providing the kit for the Political Animals, Stash is also the main sponsor of the club for the season. Jason Critchley, ex Wales rugby league international and now Sales Director of Stash Sportswear said “As a company, Stash aims to be more than simply a kit provider to our clubs. With cutting-edge technology and design we ensure we work in partnership to deliver the best possible kit experience on and off the field. We also look to give back to the sports we work in and the Political Animals as both a concept and a vehicle is an outstanding example of a club where we can use our talents to support the sport of rugby league. I’m really looking forward to seeing the game on 10th July and games over the coming season.”
As well as the Stash sportswear logo, the playing jersey displays the Political Animals three charities this season, tryASSIST, Show a Child You Care and Rainbows Hospice, all of which use sport as a means to raise money for worthy causes. More information is available on the site.
